Management/Employee relations:
Eph 6:5 Employees [Slaves
[employees]], obey your masters [management] according to the flesh,
with fear and trembling [respect], in singleness of your heart, as to
Christ;
Eph 6:9 And masters
[management], do the same things to them, forbearing threatening, knowing
that your Master also is in Heaven. There is no respect of persons with Him.
Col 3:22 Slaves [employees],
obey your masters [management] according to the flesh in all things;
not with eye-service, as men-pleasers, but in singleness of heart, fearing
God.
Col 4:1 Masters [management],
give to your slaves [employees] what is just and equal,
knowing that you also have a Master in Heaven.
1Ti 6:1 Let as many slaves
[employees] as are under the yoke count their own masters [management]
worthy of all honor, so that the name and doctrine of God may not be
blasphemed.
Tit 2:9 Slaves [employees]
are to be obedient to their masters [management], to please them
well in all things, not talking against,

The Employee Motivation Maintenance Institute is a program founded by the
Rev. Gilberto Rosado for 2007. It was an evolutionary outgrowth to address
the needs that he saw consistently within the population being serviced
through his private psychotherapy clinic. In the process he realized that
most employer / employee relationships should be founded and maintained
within a learning contract. Work, he realized, was a learning engagement as
is all of life in finality. If the employee is unwilling to learn through
his/her engagement (likewise if the employer does not forge a learning
environment in the workplace as part of the corporate culture) the work
relationship will be cold and limiting of true employee potentialities and,
as a result, the company will suffer from unrealized corporate
productivity. It is through learning that we are enabled to bear the
weaknesses and shortcomings manifest through the trials and challenges of
life. In light of the problems inherent across the country with worker
/employer relationships, this issue has to be addressed. The Columbine
tragedy is just an academic setting for what was occurring already in
workplaces like the Post Office to name a significant example.
The Rev. Rosado envisioned a service for employees to access either at their
place of work or for corporate sponsored events where they would find
resources, conversation and social engagement within a structure of
education within which they could glean some new instruction that could
better equip the employee for future challenges or help them through present
situations effectively addressing concerns that management may have
identified prior to our engagement.
Through various conferences held every trimester starting in June 30th,
2007, Rev. Rosado is presenting his vision for an employees club and
incorporating such within the mission of the Employee Motivation Maintenance
Institute – a place where productive employment is taught, mentored and
perfected.
We see already how our method has helped those in diverse workplace
situations. To date, we have helped all of our clients improve their on the
job performance and perspective. Employers have seen the increased
productivity, reduced lateness and absences / sick days.
In
2005-2006, the Rev. Rosado started work on his books that incorporate the
methodology and serve as the backbone to extending his services and ministry
to the masses via EMMI courses, seminars, individual sessions, and community
based outreaches and interventions by trained and certified cognitive
mentors.
In
2005, the Rev. Rosado held three conferences in which he presented his
vision. The attendees have become faithful fans of the conferences and are
constantly waiting for the next installment to be presented. This year it
will begin in June – admittedly late in the year, but necessary in order for
our program to gear up for the next level of which this forum and
presentation is a part. In addition it afforded us planning time to set up
the new format and delivery schedule for our services. Regardless, we have
still maintained our services to the community and have seen the same
results consistently throughout.
Our Future:
With the help of donors, grants and other support, we would like to
establish at minimum an education center in every major city and region,
certify local center therapists and educators, and provide periodic
conferences in mass in which Rev. Rosado will lead and instill his
methodology to all program participants in each area. The process of
preparing cognitive mentor therapists is ongoing and remains the basic focus
of all our endeavors.
